Burnt Caramel, Fennel & Sea Salt RAISED
We must admit that when our Melbourne head chef suggested the combination of caramel, fennel & sea salt, we were a little sceptical. After one bite, not only were we convinced that we had to have this on our menu, we may have just found our new favourite!
A slightly burnt caramel gives a lovely bitterness to the donut that balances with the sweetness of the caramel. Fennel seeds add a little pop of liquorice-like flavour, and what donut doesn’t benefit from a little more sea salt?
